December 7, 2024The product is fine. The problem I had was with delivery. The technician/driver first didn't want to deliver it as promised because he thought we had too much snow. I pointed out that we had plowed the drive and the walkway all the way to the back door, adding salt to ensure it wasn't slippery. He reluctantly agreed. He installed the stove, had to be reminded to level it. He never reseated the bottom drawer nor took the protective film off of it. With my arthritic knees I can't get down on the floor to do it, so it's unusable until one of my children visits and can get it in place. The driver then told me he was not able to take my old stove away, even though I had paid for the haul away service. He left it directly in front my my car that was snow bound in the driveway so that even when I got the car cleared, I couldn't move it. Loew's would not send out someone to lug the old stove away even though the driver had promised that it would be picked up in 24-48 hours. The stove was delivered on 12/1 and the pick up couldn't be scheduled until 12/6. As the stove sat out for 6 days in sub-freezing temperatures, the plastic became brittle so when they finally arrived at 5:30 on 12/6, the plastic cracked in a large number of very small pieces. I honestly don't know how the driver was able to get any of it into the truck. I am afraid that the small pieces of plastic will work their way into our tires and give us a flat. the bottom line is I may purchase another GE stove, I will never purchase any other major appliance from Lowe's.

September 19, 2024I must say I should have returned this the next day when the right knob for the back burner turned on while standing in front of the stove. I was standing, I did not turn it on. Happened a few more times after but I we had a lot going on. Last night my husband was cooking dinner not even the stove top, he was using the oven, the knob was turned on without him knowing. I have a wood stove cover on to protect the glass top. He went outside set the timer for the oven, I went in after 30 min and the wood top was in flames. My house was full of smoke and it smells like we had a bad fire. This is a fire hazard and customer service said this was not an issue that needs to be fixed. the back burner is burnt and it melted the black air vent piece on the back of the stove. what knob turns on if your standing in front of the stove.??My stove has damage and if I didn't go in the house when I did, my kitchen would have been on fire. Again. we were using the oven not the stove. I would never buy this stove if you are in the market. Getting help was useless. I just bought this is June and it looks terrible from the damage. DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN

January 17, 2025A I love my old stove. But one of the eyes quit working and it was too expensive to repair. Therefore, we brought this new stove. The air fryer is a plus however there is one part about this stove that I literally hate the eyes turn on too easily you can just brush up against him and not even realize it and one of them is on However, there is not an indicator to show you which I is on only the word hot written on the window, it would be very easy to catch something on on the top of the stove. If something we’re sitting there and yeah, I came on without you realizing it the last time I had the corner of a griddle sitting on the stove to use. I saw something smoking and the I had come on without me, realizing it and melted the bottom of my griddle all you have to do is walk by it and it will come on. This is not acceptable. If I could trade back, I would. Also, no manual came with it. Customer Service told me I could go to the local store and they could print me one. When I went to the local store They printed me one page I was told that the manual was 72 pages long and they cannot print that
Disappointed. Lots of burnt bread.

December 12, 2024I did not want a smart appliance or any bells and whistles for that matter. This one came with crisp mode and may be the issue. I don’t know because I cannot find any information on how this oven heats up. I do love the way my new gas range looks and the stove top works great. HOWEVER, the bake cycle is a big problem for me and my bread baking! The top heating element comes on during the bake and BURNS my bread. To prevent this from occurring I have to put my Dutch oven on the lowest rack, place a rack right under the top heating element and put a cookie sheet on it. I haven’t baked cookies or cakes since purchasing but I am not very confident in this product. Had I known this was the case I definitely would not have purchased this brand.
