September 5, 2024Pros: adorable patterns, keeps temperature hot/cold, easy to clean, fairly indestructible, cute gift packaging. Con: not leak proof. Cup went sideways in my daughters bag, lid was fully screwed on and water still leaked out of the top sipping/straw areas. Not a dealbreaker for us as we were purchasing for the aesthetic mostly. Also would have preferred if the purple cup came with a purple dust bag instead of the same pink one the pink cup comes with to be able to tell them apart if you have them stored in a cabinet in the dust bag. I’ve never owned or purchased a Stanley before. I have ignored the hype. Daughter has tons that she has received as gifts. Was able to get my hands on the viral, sold out in seconds, Love Shack Fancy x Stanley Limited Edition Collaboration 40oz Tumblers and they are adorable. All of my daughters friends were desperate for them and thrilled that I was able to get some. Nice not to have to constantly refill your water during the day if you were sitting at a desk or something, but the cup is heavy.
[Rewarded Review] Stanley is Groovy, Baby. Yeah.

August 23, 2024I had seen all of the rage about Stanley tumblers but thought I would be just fine drinking out of my collection of Yetis. Things changed when Academy sent me a teaser e-mail about the new design made exclusively for them by Stanley. The bright, happy, psychedelic colors lured me in, so I anxiously awaited the day I could purchase one. Once I did, I didn't regret it. It's even cuter in person! I didn't know I needed a handle until now, but apparently, I do. It really keeps drinks cold for hours and sometimes, my ice from the night before is still in there when I open it in the morning. There are only 2 things I don't like. The first is having an open straw that I can't seal closed. I know I can solve this with a straw cap, but it's not ideal. The other thing that is a little frustrating is the screw-on lid. It sometimes takes me several attempts to get it aligned and on the right side. I see why they designed it this way since it can work for both left-handed and right-handed people, but it does take a little time and patience sometimes to get it on right. Overall, I love this mug and am now officially a member of the "Big, Dumb Mug" Club, but I'm not mad about it. :)

January 30, 2024I thought I’d love this product with how much hype there is around it, however, it doesn’t live up to the hype unfortunately. As far as how cold drinks stay in it, the insulation is absolutely amazing! And I love the quality. But the handle just isn’t as ergonomically comfortable and is more of a nuisance because of how far it sticks out away from the body. The handle aspects definitely need to be improved. And the straw is terrible because it’s constantly exposed and seems more disgusting to me than anything. But if you use it without the straw then the cover is nice for keeping the drink inside clean. But the biggest issue I have is how the liquid inside easily spills out of the container. So unfortunately for the price, I’d have to say this was a bust for me since the hydro flasks and yeti bottles have the same durability and insulation as this and also has straws in each of their lines as well. So there’s nothing outstanding compared to the other competitors.

June 7, 2024Love the weight larger handle compared to my Yeti Hydroflask. I like my Yeti and its leak proof lid a lot, but the handle is too small for my average sized hand it is too heavy. My Hydroflask “straw” is hard to drink from and their makeshift straw is not leakproof either. I like the straw with my Stanley as is easy to drink from. Definitely prefer my Stanley and would keep one at home one at work if I did not have the two other brands. My Stanley, although not 100% leak proof, it does resist leaking and I never hold it upside down anyway so has never leaked. My Hydroflask leaks worse Yeti not at all, but does not have a straw. My Stanley is easy to clean, lightweight compared to the other two, the handle fits my hand with lots of room to spare, keeps my water very cold for 12+ hours. I am very happy with my Stanley and have been using it a few weeks now.
